- In 2001 we revolutionized the ePRO industry by introducing real time connectivity between patients and sites. Having patients send data directly from home using a landline modem enabled study sites to manage their patients’ compliance and performance between site visits.
- Just a year later in 2002, we were the first to introduce wireless eDiaries for global studies. This enabled choosing an optimal connectivity method for each country participating in a clinical trial. Combined with a global network testing program, our clients were able to collect patient reported data from over 20 countries in real time Currently, CRF Health's technology has been used in 61 countries (and continues to grow!).
- Our ambition to enable clinical study teams to participate in the design of their eDiaries inspired us to develop TrialStudio in 2003. TrialStudio was the first design tool that allowed study teams to easily visualize and understand how the eDiary works so they could collaborate on the design and ensure that the eDiary meets the requirements of the study.
- In 2008, we led the industry into using Windows Mobile® as the next eDiary platform. Windows Mobile offers an extensive range of easy-to-use, high performance eDiary devices, enabling the use of ePRO in more therapeutic areas and an increasing number of countries and languages.
We bring products to market at the right time, because we listen to our clients and users in addition to keeping ourselves on top of the developments in mobile technology. Our R&D team consists of enthusiastic and experienced software development professionals who are located in Helsinki, Finland, the center of mobile technology in Europe.
