CRF INC. ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF MICROSOFT® WINDOWS MOBILE® DEVICE SUPPORT FOR TRIALMAX® SUITE Microsoft Windows Mobile To Provide More Device Options
Waltham, MA. – June 19, 2007: CRF INC. (“CRF”), the leading global provider of eDiaries and wireless data collection solutions for the Life Science Industry, is pleased to announce that its TrialMax® suite of ePRO software solutions will now support the Microsoft Windows Operating System and select Microsoft Windows Mobile Devices. The TrialMax® suite provides a set of easily configurable, integrated applications that together meet the unique business, technology and regulatory requirements of ePRO data collection and reporting.

CRF’s TrialMax® e-diary designer tool, TrialStudio™ application, will be used to design Windows Mobile diary solutions. Using the TrialStudio design tool, eDiary files and information components will now be easily transferable between the different mobile device platforms. This transferability between mobile device platforms for diary information components and files will now allow data collection methods and text to be easily set up with standards for consistent repeatable results.
Windows Mobile is a compact Operating System (OS) that provides a high performance, scalable computing solution supporting the Microsoft.NET™ compact framework for limited memory configurations. The Windows Mobile OS has integrated power management, enabling long battery life on mobile devices. Standard communications support is built into Windows Mobile, enabling access to GSM and GPRS systems to send and receive data. Finally, a graphical user interface incorporating many elements of the familiar Desk-Top Windows user interface is also available for reducing the learning curve of a new user.

In 2007, CRF will continue to enhance its clients’ investment in the CRF TrialMax® platform with additional web questionnaire, multiple language and wireless communication support. Finally, CRF will be announcing the availability of its TrialMax® applications, which can be installed as independent standalone applications.
